When I started this site years ago there was plenty of science to back up everything I've said in here. But high-quality, easy to find books on the matter were a bit harder to come by. I'm happy to tell you that has changed!
The diet section of any bookstore these days is filled with diet books with 'stages', 'days', 'zones', 'plans', etc until you're dizzy and wondering how anyone can actually eat this way! But the best of them will all say, in some form or another, drop your carbs!
Beware books that want you to sigh up for their program, that want you to buy their special products, that offer ready made meals or shakes or bars, and want you to buy their supplements. Eating low care is really not that hard! And it certainly isn't that expensive.
